What would happen if???

Say I have a card number and I use it online and instead of putting the cardholders name I use another name but still use the cardholders address as the billing and shipping, will it get rejected or does the system check the billing name AND address?

Depends of the card/shop.
If you use non AVS card, it will only check cc num, cvv, exp.

sometimes instead of putting cards billing put your billing +=

Most of the time it's fine. I say maybe 90% just some shops who sell more expensive items will have that.
