Verifone vx670 question

I have 3 verifone vx670's and I noticed that 1 of them has a normal port that the RS232 dongle can be connected to, but the other 2 have a different port that looks a lot like a mini hdmi port. My question is can they be flashed with the software to capture d+p such as global payment or are the vx670's useless?

yes u can flash it but u have to do it through the full dock cradle thing, plug the rs232 dongle into the dock, then conect to computer

I managed to find a USB host cable that fits into the port, wont that work, its the vx680 usb host cable
