The illegal activities of the 27-year-old defendant were exposed by officers of the Holosiivskyi Police Department, together with operatives of the Department of Internal Security of Ukraine in cooperation with employees of the Cyber Police Department, with the assistance of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the procedural management of the Holosiivskyi District Prosecutor's Office.

The pre-trial investigation established that the attacker was looking for "clients" through a telegram bot who intended to take a coupon for the services of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as soon as possible.

Later, the man, with the help of his own created program, interfered with the work of the electronic communication system of the state institution and thus "intercepted" the working session of other users of the site to issue a coupon in the name of his client. Thus, the electronic record of real users was blocked, instead of it, a queue was created for the selected customer.

The price for one ticket of the electronic queue started from 1000 hryvnias. During the day, the man generated at least fifty coupons to order, and the payment was carried out in a non-cash form to bank cards.

The police detained the defendant in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He turned out to be a previously unconvicted resident of the Kyiv region. At the man's place of residence, investigators conducted an authorized search, as a result of which they seized computer equipment on which the programs on which the attacker acted and money were installed.

Investigators informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - unauthorized interference in the work of information and communication systems, which entailed a violation of the established procedure for its routing, committed under martial law.

Now the court has chosen a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of round-the-clock house arrest. The man faces imprisonment for up to fifteen years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
