Operatives of the cybercrime units of the Brest region have identified two residents of Minsk who were involved in the illegal circulation of cryptocurrency.
It was established that the brothers, aged 22 and 25, traded it for about a month on specialized exchanges as intermediaries. In this way, money stolen from Belarusian citizens was cashed out and converted, among other things.
Illegal turnover exceeded 375 thousand rubles.
Administrative protocols for illegal entrepreneurial activity were drawn up against the defendants. The sanction of the article provides for a large fine and the conversion of the entire amount passed through the crypto wallet to the state.
