Volgograd police officers detained a 24-year-old fraudster from the Penza region, who is suspected of providing fake sex services on the Internet.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Volgograd region reported that the Penza swindler created websites with ads for providing sexual services and published fictitious profiles of girls there. He took their photos from open sources.
In telephone conversations, the fraudster faked the female timbre of the voice and announced the cost of sexual services, as well as offered so-called additional services. The attacker also spoke on behalf of the site administrator and demanded to pay for "additional insurance".
An 18-year-old Volgograd resident fell into the trap of a fraudster, who transferred 97 thousand rubles to him. The young man wrote a statement to the police.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspect on the territory of the Penza region. Mobile phones and bank cards were found in his house.
Investigators have already opened a criminal case under the article "fraud". Currently, the issue of placing the suspect in custody is being resolved.
