iPad shipping (customs) question (USA --> EU)

Hello members!

I want to ask about Apple iPad shipping.
Has somebody shipped iPad from USA to EU??

I am planning to do it now. I done some ars call in and my drop will send me now.
But I have never shipped iPad. What I want to know is will it be any customs fee (duty) on it??

Is there any tips/ideas how to avoid it?

If its only one piece mark is as a gift you wont have to pay customs
its its more then the customs are 10 to 30% of the value depending on the country

But its weight is 1.1kg (2.5lbs) and size is enough big.
As I heard with these parameters they open and check.
What should I write on the box?? Whats amount? What does it contains?

I know that Tyner puts "portal data storage device" or something similar to that when shipping MSR206's, box is never opened by customs. Maybe take the similar route? I don't know. Maybe cross-border isn't so strict on items but overseas it might be different.

You'll pay customs tax ( maybe, depends, I know that for laptops in EU there wasnt any duty tax some time ago ) + VAT. If it is marked as gift, or even replacement as by warranty, or something like this, you could get away with paying nothing.
