I like traveling very much. During my life, I have visited absolutely all countries of the world using the excellent Google Maps service and a little over 20 countries alone. Why am I traveling? I will not rub you hackneyed game of the type that expand your worldview, disconnect from daily problems and get high from the peculiarities of different cultures. This will be popularly explained to you on Instagram. And with a solid dose of hypocrisy, since everyone knows very well that travel is just an excellent tool for showing off and confirming one's own superiority over others.
My goals are simpler, so I will say it as it is. You all know me perfectly, but at the same time you do not know anything about me.
The main goal of my travels is to break out of the routine and temporarily tune the brain in a new way. There is a theory that while traveling we analyze our life from a radically new angle, draw conclusions and make decisions about what needs to be changed. Roughly speaking, rethinking. Well, and what is important, far from home, our brain generates fresh ideas with particular intensity. Such changes really make it possible to make a qualitatively new leap in personal and professional growth. Well, as you learned from the video, it is especially cool to catch a meditative trip during a trip.
Why is this happening? Due to the fact that we are not burdened with routine, which means that we can think about global existential problems. Plus, while traveling, we notice many small details from the life of foreigners, draw conclusions, compare and generate interesting thoughts. In short, we figured out why it is worth traveling. But in order for your trip to be as productive as possible, you need the appropriate organization. I will give you a few key points that I am guided by during my next trip.
No tours. This applies to both the purchase of a voucher and additional excursions that can be ordered on the spot. This breaks the whole essence of the research. You are taken to new places like a herd of sheep, strictly on schedule and just for the sake of show. In this mode, it is impossible to learn something new, as you will be constantly distracted by the annoying group.
Housing. No hotels. Exclusively apartments. You are not connected by an unnecessary breakfast, plus, there is no surveillance by spies from the reception. Again, we remove the excess load for the brain. And Airbnb often offers much more pleasant terms and prices.
Money. To take so much money for a trip so as not to think about anything and not to save much. Otherwise, it is better not to go at all. All worries about finances should be left at home. Our goal is just to break out of this vicious circle. There should be enough funds to be enough for full and very tasty food, various activities, convenient transportation and shopping. This way you will have a lot more fun and be more productive. A budget trip is of course romance, but definitely not for spiritual growth.
Basically, following these 3 points, you will have a wonderful and productive trip. As for planning, I love both spontaneous trips and booking air tickets a year in advance, which is much cheaper. But the latter option does not at all fit the current conditions in the world.
