Three criminals were arrested in Texas for using a Raspberry Pi to bypass ATM security systems and steal money. The criminals managed to steal about $5 thousand from several ATMs in the west of the state.
The men were detained on August 3 after law enforcement agencies became aware of break-ins and thefts. All three were arrested in a hotel room that also contained two Raspberry Pis.
Court records indicate that the attackers used single-board computers to disable security systems and gain access to money.
