I remember last year a BIG MAINTENANCE on LR website was done too ( Offline like a week ) , then all Back as Normal ( without any lost of Balance ) after the shedule .
This is at this time we see the new features into Lr Transaction ( Like type of sales , etc.. )

Do NOT PANIC at ALL . LR was the Biggest and safest E-currency .
For the Moment it ONLY EXCHANGER & LR competitor ( PM/BITCOIN...etc ) who got something into this shit by INCREASE RATES of exchange the LR currency ..

if worried about fluctuation then jsut convert it to USD imeddiately and play the market when you feel like it. If you have a shop you can do this automatically with mtgox apis

All people are panicking for nothing. I know from a reliable source who have direct contact to LR, that they will be back up on Thursday/Friday and the account restrictions (locked accounts) will be removed.

I know for a fact that PerfectMoney and other payment processsors have helped in creating panic and drama. I wont say more, but just wait and see and no need to say LR is dead and move to PM. All will be fine.

There is alot of problems like API problems, blocked accounts, hackers, verification code problems, Captcha code problems and they are working on fixing all problems and implementing a new security feature to make LR more secure.

I believe the locking of accounts was done as a preventative and security measure, and that the restrictions on most accounts will be removed eventually.
