In the capital, an illegal cryptocurrency trader was identified, whose illegal turnover exceeded 200 thousand rubles

Cybercrime counteraction operatives of the Central Police Department of the capital identified a 28-year-old Minsk resident who was engaged in illegal cryptocurrency trafficking.

Law enforcement officers found that for 4 months a resident of the capital made transactions on the exchange of virtual currency on specialized exchanges. The man posted an ad with a deal proposal in the messenger's public pages. In this way, funds were cashed and converted, including those stolen from Belarusian citizens.

As a result of illegal business activities, the Minsk resident made a profit of more than 218 thousand rubles.

A protocol for illegal business activity has been drawn up against the violator. He faces a large fine and appeal to the state revenue of the entire amount passed through the crypto wallet.
