Actually Thermal Card Printers have max of 300dpi This is only a problem when printing text as it will be blurry. However there are ways to print crisp text separately using the black resin ribbons.

thats easy part. :) Hard part is lining them up perfectly. Visa has more room for error but if MC are slightly off then you will notice it.

This can be replicated also. Holograms can be made on a continuous roll and applied with thermal printer as an overlaminate. And no I dont sell these rolls. But one day when more bank cards produce these, then I will have no choice to develop these further :) For now stay away from those cards
