atm ethernet cable

whats with some atms with ethernet cable in plain view. Is it not possible to get the tracks from this. I know the pins is impossible but from what i understand its possible to get track 2

It is possible to get the tracks. You have to install a network tap on the Ethernet cable that logs the outgoing traffic from the atm. You can also log incoming but its no use.

The tap is a simple device that connect's to 4 of the wire's in the Ethernet cable.

2 wire's for outgoing
2 wire's for incoming

thanks i will rep u for this. but i gonna need something a little smaller then a laptop to capture the traffic. Theres no smaller devices that u can think of that you could attach to the tap. Another thing to ponder is i can get right to the server in multiple locations
