Google has introduced a new security feature for the Workspace platform, Security Advisor. The feature allows administrators to easily identify when security settings have been accidentally changed or not initially enabled.

With the increasing number of cyber threats and their increasing sophistication, especially small businesses are becoming a vulnerable target for attackers. To help these organizations, Google offers Security Advisor, which provides not only recommendations to protect against threats, but also tools to strengthen the security of accounts and data.

In addition to recommendations in the Admin Console, Security Advisor includes features such as:

This feature is available to administrators through the Security section of the Admin console. Security Advisor began rolling out gradually on September 24, 2024 and will be available to Google Workspace Business Starter, Standard, and Plus users.
