Good day, my dear future criminal!

Mass paranoia is eternal. After all, long before our days, people have already begun to think about total control and the eyes of the "big brother" closely following them wherever possible. Every day, and for many centuries, new and new "conspiracy theories" and rumors are created that many states of the world will do for their citizens.
That there is only the novel "1984" written by Orwell in 1948. And this, by the way, was 73 years ago.

What is going on in our time? After all, this is the century of technical progress. Everyone has a smartphone in their hands, a plastic card in their pocket, the Wi-Fi operator of which is a company at home, which is forced to cave in under any change in the legislation of the state that already smelled of totalitarianism through and through.

And it's going on, frankly - ASS.

Even Edward Snowden said: "I don't want to live in a world where everything I say or do is recorded," and news headlines are increasingly full of cases of both international and domestic surveillance and wiretapping.

All this, of course, at first glance seems to be paranoid delirium. But only in the eyes of the layman. You and I tell you that everything in our world is not so simple, otherwise you would not be a subscriber.

I have already written about surveillance using video cameras and today I would like to talk about the next link in the chain of the "digital concentration camp" - wiretapping .

Are they listening to me?

This question was asked by everyone who at least once broke the law or contacted the shadow sphere. And no need to deny the obvious, I bet that you also asked yourself this question :)

Here people are divided into 2 camps:
  1. Some people buy themselves bags with a Faraday cage - this is such a thing that blocks any signal and are afraid to order pizza online.
  2. Others calmly say: "Well, let them listen, I have nothing to hide," and then half of them are sitting in the courtroom and listening to a recording of a conversation with a sidekick, where they agree to meet in the woods and pick up a prikop, which they did not find last week.
Both of these camps are right in their own way, but the truth usually lies somewhere in between.

You don't need to be paranoid, be afraid to tell social networks your age and put left avatars, but you also don't need to download suspicious programs from Telegram and set primitive passwords.

Most importantly, always practice your network hygiene. At least the standard one.
  1. Never download suspicious applications and programs, even from official sites and sources like AppStore or Play Market.
After all, they have messed up more than once, passing software into their lists, and then catching it as harmful. Always check the permissions given to the downloaded programs, because the calculator application does not need permission to access your microphone, geo-location and camera.
  2. Always track obscure alerts on your phone. Even if an incomprehensible error pops up there. After all, sometimes spyware utilities are fired in this way.
Otherwise, if you are not a fugitive criminal, you are not wanted by Interpol or the FSB, you have not committed serious crimes, you are not a military man with access to classified data and you are not a deputy, then you can be almost sure that the state most likely does not wiretap you.

And here many may ask a question:

"Okay, but can they start listening to me if I mention something illegal in a conversation?"

Let's decide: In our country, any phone can be tapped without court sanctions or legal permission, because in the country the laws are interpreted as they please ..
Yes, this is impossible, but let's think, you can be fucked with a truncheon and shoved into a paddy wagon for a walk with friends in the city center, during an opposition rally, do you think listening to your smartphone is a big challenge for them?

So let's see what awaits you, if you are still interested.

Here is the GammaGroup company: https://www.gammagroup.com/
These guys have been successfully cooperating with Western law enforcement agencies for a long time and write a variety of Trojans for them.

For example, their most popular Trojan FinFisher has been freely distributed on iTunes for 3 years.
Sometimes intelligence agencies buy such Trojans from hacker stocks, where some hackers sometimes put their Trojans up for sale.

Also, Western special services successfully used the SS7 vulnerability - this is such a large network for the transmission of data of cellular operators, through which all our correspondence and calls pass. Thus, the authorities could wiretap absolutely any person without making any effort.
All this simmering was just confirmed by Edward Snowden.

"But blaspheme to us the state of affairs among the pendos, how are things in our latitudes, where the dolbaeb precinct, as a rule, does not know about the methods of access to the hydra?"

Our policemen in general are not fond of Trojans if they do not need to turn on the microphone on the phone in the event that the subject of the surveillance does not speak on the mobile phone.

In other cases, SOPM does an excellent job of eavesdropping.

SORM is a set of technical means and measures intended for carrying out operational-search measures in telephone, mobile and wireless communication and radio communication networks.
And yet, what will happen if tomorrow you start chanting anti-government slogans on the phone or negotiating with your sidekick about finding a past week's waste in the forest?

Fortunately - so far nothing. But the situation can change at any moment. After all, the state mercilessly modernizes its capabilities, and on state purchases every now and then new orders appear in one way or another related to censorship.

By the way, the Roskomsvoboda project has long since launched a website that publishes all state purchases in one way or another related to censorship, video surveillance and wiretapping. If you are the administrator of Roskomsvoboda, enter a check for advertising).

And although the inclusion of recording due to keywords is not yet used, I do not advise you to relax the rolls. Indeed, in our case there is the "Yarovaya Package", as it were, adopted for anti-terror, but we know who is considered terrorists in our country.

Let's get it straight - they've been listening to us for a long time 24/7, and what's more, we were informed about it and we know about it. We even managed to come to terms with it.

Just a couple of years ago, in responses to Mail.ru, people asked the following questions:

“I'm certainly not paranoid or crazy, don't laugh, but it seems to me that my phone is eavesdropping on me. Is this even real? "

Nobody began to laugh. Hundreds of people have confirmed that a random phrase said in the kitchen, even with a locked phone, helped the smartphone to immediately bombard you with targeted ads containing these same keywords. This is what many Youtube channels have proven by testing different smartphones (both Android and IOS).

Everyone immediately rushed to study the "privacy policy" that nobody had ever cared about before (yes, yes - this is the very point where there is a lot of text that you do not read by clicking the "Accept" button).
But oddly enough, nothing was said about wiretapping. The services caught in this claimed that this was just a coincidence.

One American blogger even conducted Operation Cat Food.
The essence of the operation is that you need to call something on your phone for at least 2 days that you would never google. Because the blogger did not have a cat - he was talking about cat food, because someone who does not have such a pet would hardly become interested in such products.
It didn't take two days, the very next day the whole phone was full of banners about the purchase of cat food.

And what did you think, in vain that Zuckenberg, in addition to the camera, also glued the microphone?

The same Google does not even deny that it is eavesdropping on us through smartphones in order to offer targeted advertising supposedly "necessary for the user". And if Google does not deny, then why not assume that Facebook, Yandex or Instagram are also guilty of this?

In general, everything is clear with wiretapping - if you need to listen, they will hear.

But you should not throw out your fashionable smartphone for the sake of switching to push-button slippers, because the widespread concept of the impossibility of wiretapping push-button phones is a myth, like freedom of speech)))) 0

A quite reasonable question arises:

"Can I eavesdrop on other people's telephone conversations if I am not a hacker or an FSB agent?"

Well, both in the Darknet and in the clearnet, you can find dozens of spy programs that allow you to effortlessly monitor everything that only transmits a signal (wiretapping, video, visits to sites, passwords) supposedly designed to control the movement and tastes of your children.

But we rummage that requests for searching for porn and free minecraft are not interesting to us, but listening to the conversations of his wife who has a suspicious headache in the evenings, or her husband leaving for the third time on a business trip in a month is another matter.

Immediately I will save you - all these programs DIVORCE FRAUD.
Many of them contain Trojans, others do not work stupidly, and the rest are disguised as completely legal services for which the trial period can reach 10-24 hours.

"By the way, how do I know if the state is listening to me?"

There is only one answer: NO. If the state bugs you, then believe me - you will never know about it. Sorian, but this is the bitter truth of life.

No matter how rampant our "special services" are, who are constantly failing custom poisonings both inside and outside the country (Hello Navalny and Skripalyam), the state has other trump cards that help them to carry out such activities, namely operators.

Yes, yes, we return to the signs of a totalitarian state, because it is simply impossible to conduct large business without close cooperation with the authorities. That is why telecom operators, albeit reluctantly, but at their own expense, install equipment and open data centers to comply with the "Yarovaya Package", keeping your correspondence with memasics and recordings of telephone conversations for half a year, or even more.

Forget about the bikes, like "When listening, the phone sits down faster" or "If someone listens to you, you will hear clicks or even echoes in the phone during a conversation" - technologies have long stepped forward and large smartphone manufacturers have long been cooperating with authorities and include the possibility of wiretapping.

Before the state - there are no borders and frames. The only telephone that the state cannot listen to is a de-energized telephone. But phones with a built-in battery have been able to cope with this for a long time (hello to the lovers of these smartphones).

What did we end up with?
Surveillance and wiretapping is now a service available to everyone.
You don't have to be a hacker or secret service agent to have access to a person's smartphone.
While it is too early to talk about total listening to each and every one. But if someone's interest falls on you, this interest will be satisfied.
Is it possible to escape from the state wiretapping - no, except perhaps to go deep into the taiga and live in a dugout.
Is it possible to notice the state wiretapping - no, because loopholes have long been made for them and they have all the telecom operators in their hands.

Do we want to live in surveillance mode? Absolutely not.
But again, we have no choice. The state regime has long been totalitarian, and although the opposition in the country is shouting about peaceful protests, you and I know what it is for.
If the elections were decided, they would be canceled.

What to do and how to live with it? HZ, the choice is yours, my dear future criminal.
The main thing is to be careful in any scenario and when discussing your "dark" affairs - keep your smartphone away from the conversation. You never know.
