Will a 2DS Website require any extra verifcation?

I was just wondering if I buy from a 2DS website lets say with a card thats VBV will the payment still go in regardless without OTP. or will the card have to be a Non VBV for it to work on a 2DS website.

From what i've learned if you buy with a vbv card on a 2ds website it shouldn't ask for an otp

yes 2d website never ask for a third party verification
