Each person has some situations in which he regularly finds himself. Do not rush to say "this is NOT about me" - read it, and only then draw conclusions.
Imprints are always at the heart of repetitive situations in life and at the heart of a person's unconscious scenario.
An imprint is an emotional imprinting into the human psyche of a certain state, which becomes basic in life. It makes sense to get rid of imprints, especially from negative ones, because they condition your actions, thoughts and reactions to the world around you - that is, they form the scenarios of your life, which then add up to fate and not always good ...
How it works.
Our unconscious works in such a way that once having experienced a strong emotion, it forms a belief about reality and seeks to experience this emotion again and again in order to confirm the truth of the belief. It would seem - why confirm the truth of negative beliefs? Here the basic need of our unconscious for security plays a cruel joke on us. It is guided by a simple logic: if the belief is true, then I know the world and know how to exist in this world, even if the world is terrible - I am armed.
Naturally, we usually do not notice that we are under the influence of tens, if not thousands of imprints that have formed the core of our beliefs about the world and our personality (more precisely, our ego).
Some are able to notice our imprints, analyze and change. To do this, it is enough to develop awareness and regularly ask yourself the questions "What is my story? What am I feeling right now? What metaphor can be used to describe what is happening to me? And the main question - DO I often feel and think the same thing?" And if suddenly the answer is yes, then - congratulations, the basis for sure is the imprint that laid the foundation for the existing feelings. Do you think that you are a loner in life? Or that people don't hear what you are saying? Or does no one appreciate your efforts? Or do you seem to constantly overcome the resistance of circumstances? Or maybe your friends are betraying you? Or as luck would have it, all the bosses are trying to impose unnecessary responsibilities on you? - all these feelings are based on imprints.
Another way to become aware of your imprints is to analyze your desires.
An overestimated need for something indicates the presence of a traumatic story associated with a deficiency of what is desired, that is, the presence of a negative imprint.
So if you want love unbearably, your imprint and hidden belief is that there is no love in the world, and this is the scenario you risk realizing. If you crave recognition to the point of madness, then most likely it is based on an imprinted experience of your own worthlessness. Consciously, a person may strive to avoid these emotions, but unconsciously it is them that he will realize in life over and over again.
That is why the traumatized need will continue to be traumatized, and any satisfaction will be temporary.
That is why the law works that if we go to the world "with outstretched hand" in the hope of getting something, the world takes from us even more of what we ask for. "
Once we heal the trauma of our need and it is deactivated, we tend to naturally get what we always wanted.
The causes of traumatized needs and imprints usually lie in childhood, but not only. Traumatized emotional experiences are also inherited from parents, even if the child was raised by a foster family. This is how family and ancestral scenarios are born.
There are many different ways to deal with these situations. One of them is the "Reimprinting" technique, which will be described below ..
Reimprinting technique
It is worth noting that this embodiment of the technique may differ in details from the classic descriptions that can be found on the Internet.
So.
Description of the technique step by step.
1. What is your story? What events, circumstances, or conditions do you regularly experience? Describe through a metaphor what it looks like? Write it down briefly on paper (to compare the changes later)
2. How often do you feel this in your life? Through what other events and situations is the same metaphor manifested?
3. How many points on a scale of ten do you believe the belief behind it is true?
4. Think back and imagine the last or brightest situation you experienced with this metaphor.
5. Trace in detail your thoughts, your emotions and your feelings and impulses for action in the body.
6. Imagine being in this situation as if you are standing on the line of your life. This line can appear to you in different ways: as a line, as a road, as a corridor ... It can be of different colors or sizes ... This is not so important, just let your unconscious draw its image.
7. Imagine as if you split in two, take a step to the side of your life line and look at yourself from the outside in the situation you were thinking about.
8. Begin to move back along your life line with the thought of finding the situation that became the starting point for the fact that now you are haunted by the metaphor of the script. Walk next to the life line, not along it. You may not immediately remember the situation itself, but you will feel the place where you want to stop.
9 . When you find this place, stop and allow your unconscious mind to paint you a picture of what is happening there. Ask yourself how old do you feel there? What do you see? What do you feel? What is happening there? If you find it difficult to see or feel, ask yourself what seems to be happening there, as if you knew, as if the sensations themselves suggested what this situation is about?
10. Now it is necessary to check whether this moment is really key.
Ask yourself a few questions: Did you experience the described emotions up to this point, or was it still good a few minutes "before"?
If you did, go further back in time, find an earlier moment and check it out as well.
11. If you find a key point, then ask yourself, what other people were involved in this situation? Does anyone else get something for themselves from the fact that this is happening to you? Is anyone else to blame? Or is this situation only about you and your perception?
12. Observe the feelings that you and others are experiencing in this situation, if any. Do the "acknowledgment" of feelings and desires for each of the participants in the situation and for yourself. Watch for changes in sensation. Repeat the "recognition" technique several times as needed.
13. Add to yourself and others the resources you need to cope with a different outcome or avoid it altogether. Ask your unconscious what exactly - what sensations, states, knowledge you and other participants in the process lacked and mentally send them images of these resources.
14. Mentally enter your image on the life line. Feel how your state, perception, and maybe the situation itself has changed. Live a new sensation that was not there before. Recognize a new resource.
15. Being in a new state, start moving forward along the line of your life, no longer leaving it, but walking along it, and observe how, against the background of the changes that have occurred, your attitude and perception of some other events will also change.
16. Get to the present moment, and now track your condition. How relevant to you is the initial metaphor of feelings with which you entered the work? How much on a scale of ten do you believe in your previous negative belief? What do you think about what is happening now?
If the sensations have changed little or barely changed at all, then this indicates that you have not reached the key situation, that it is even earlier - at the very moment of your birth, or it is completely broadcast in the background along the line of the clan by one of the parents.
Unfortunately, if this is so, this indicates the need for a deeper regressive therapy, which I, with all my desire, cannot fully describe and you better seek individual advice.
