if you use a dump in UK, will the business lose out in the end?
is there anything like a chargeback they receive?
or will the money be cleared and safe?

any info from ppl is appreciated

usually the merchant looses out unless they take down your info off id and imprint the card

have you swiped in the UK? are you talking from personal experience?

i was told that the merchant will not lose out , just the banks?

i need people who have done this before with expereince?

Sure they can not lose, if they follow all procedure correct they will win chargeback from bank. But they still want to bust you because you are a theif and liar, that is the way english people think.

with 101's in the uk...

you swipe

2-3 weeks later the shop receives a disputed transaction request...

the shop has 7 days to respond to this i.e send off copy of the sales receipt and a copy of the signed receipt

the merchant ALL OF THE TIMES WITH 101's will claw or not pay the shop for the transaction

this is why the uk moved to 201, and as you know if you try and dispute a 201 transaction the bank will not let you as a 'pin has been used'

true. with 101 in uk , shop ALWAYS loose.( i was told by a shop owner , that there is a law regarding loss by using 101)

i have even known 'charge backs' happening 3mths after the transaction. sainsburys are changing there pos to reject all 101 cards later this year and the online shop (tech and food) auto decline foreign cards
