Today you will learn who and how catches hackers and carders. I will tell you everything I know about the most secret unit that deals with cybersecurity, commonly known as Department K or Cyberpolice.

Modern problems require modern solutions. Today, it is unlikely that anyone will break into your home to steal your TV or VCR. Things are losing their value because they are becoming cheap. With the advent of AliExpress and cheaper production, you can buy yourself a TV and some Xiaomi for the price of one push-button Nokia with GPRS from 2007. The idea of stealing a phone already seems wild to us, and only some alcoholic with a burning pipe can do it.

And before, this was a good trade for gopniks, who formed a whole cult around themselves and a technique of talking the victim into giving you their things themselves without using violence. But time goes by, and crimes adapt to progress. Casinos have replaced ring scammers at the train station, carders have replaced pickpockets, and gypsies have replaced phishing emails. Okay, maybe the gypsies are still here, but phishing emails are a real gypsy thing.

And law enforcement agencies should save careless citizens who know nothing about online fraud. But they themselves know nothing, the work computer of some police officer is the most virus-infested device in the world. That's why a special department called "Finishing" was created. Yes, with a website like this, or rather, you can't even call it a website, more like a forum thread.

When I was preparing for this issue, I really wanted to understand the work of Department K for one simple reason. Russia is a country of contradictions. And it just so happened that the highest echelons of power and the biggest positions are occupied by Soviet old men. They are Putin's peers. These are strong-willed people who can bend steel nails with their hands. But, alas, that was enough 15 years ago.

And today, crime has reached a new level, and criminals must be caught gracefully. Villas and torches, which we love so much, will not help if the criminal is not in front of you, tied to a chair in the KGB basements, but somewhere on the Internet. So, I mean that the image of the cyber police is very contradictory. It is enough to visit the local antediluvian police station once and see for yourself that their life in 2021 is not much different from the life of their colleagues from the TV series "Streets of Broken Lights".

And this makes you wonder whether people in uniform even understand what century it is now. On the other hand, the tightening of the screws began back in 2016, with that very Yarovaya package. Cybercriminals are still caught. And as a result, many questions arise. And what kind of Department K is this? The Ministry of Internal Affairs, which uses outdated Western technologies or a secretive but quite effective department, for which the image of sluggishness only benefits and serves as a cover? Let's try to figure it out.

Today you will learn how to get a job in the "K" department and what they do, how you can be tracked on the Internet, even if you do nothing, what sites you should not visit and what requests you better not make, and of course, can they read anonymous messengers.

In fact, you can find out everything about us, and it is quite simple to do so thanks to a digital portrait, which, rest assured, has already been compiled for you. Who did you like, what repost did you make, are you subscribed to the Slava Rodu Slavyanskomu community or gay dating in St. Petersburg, or perhaps are interested in how to make a weapon at home, all this is easy to find out and I have already talked about this more than once in my videos. And as I said in the video about wiretapping, you do not have a personal FSB officer and, unfortunately, no one is passively watching you either, unless, of course, you are under development.

But every day you like, add some articles or posts to bookmarks and google something. There is no such thing as anonymity, there is only privacy. And these are completely different things. And believe me, law enforcement agencies don’t give a damn about privacy. So it’s like sex. No one except you will take care of your safety.

The only difference is that data leakage can cause you much more problems than ordinary chlamydia. And if you’ve been watching my videos for a long time, you remember those three magic letters – VPN. But VPN is like a watermelon in August, you still have to know how to choose it. So that your data is not registered anywhere. So even if someone wants to take you by the balls, gills or something else, they still won’t succeed.

And Firewall also prevents IP leakage so that no one can find out where you are. Well, public Wi-Fi networks, which we are scared of at every corner, will no longer be scary for you. Surfshark will encrypt your data, so even if it is stolen for villains, it will be useless. And also impeccable speed and work on an unlimited number of devices when buying one subscription.

But what can they dig up on you if you are an ordinary Internet user? Let's start with the bad. Not long ago, Google was obliged to remember users who enter special search queries. But in fact, this is not a big news and, for example, the word "Navalny" is probably the most important stop word this year. But in the long term, in the future there may be something like the movie "Minority Report" with Tom Cruise, when crimes were solved before they were committed and people who had not yet had time to do anything were imprisoned.

We are confidently moving towards this, and just look at the search by indicator words. And everything would be fine, because initially all this activity was covered up with good intentions, like searching for pedophiles or drug dealers. That is, by some specific words, the program would see that something suspicious is happening. Thus, criminals could be searched for even before they commit a crime. But we all understand that the search by indicator words will not be used to our advantage.

For example, during the rallies in Belarus or the same Navalny actions, you could easily be detained and put in jail for several days without explanation, and the argument here was one - you just didn’t look good and happened to be in the right place at the right time. The same is true here - of course, you can’t put everyone in jail, but soon it may happen that search queries alone will be enough to give you 10 days to sit and think it over. Yes, it sounds a bit crazy, but beating people at rallies seemed crazy to us before.

Well, in order not to bother at all and find you right away, recently the same Google has been forcibly turning on two-factor authentication for 15 million users. Simply put, confirmation of your actions via SMS. If you think that this is done only to protect you from hacking, then you are a little mistaken, my friend. And this is also to firmly link you to your phone number and SIM card.

Well, and then you already understand. The same thing with biometrics. I think that there is no need to go to fortune tellers and believe in conspiracy theories, and here everything is clear that this data will be used not only for its intended purpose. Even Kaspersky, who urged not to give up biometrics, spoke about this. Of course, she is not such an authoritative source as Victoria Bonya, but her fears can also be trusted. So, how to become employees of Department K?

A somewhat romanticized, but a working method is to get exposed. If you are young or not so young, but talented, then, if you get caught, they can tell you "Oh, come to us!" And then it's a question of your principles. Are you a cybernetic or not, but still a cop. And it's unclear how your friends with concepts will react to this. That is, you are offered to become that very white hacker in the service of the state. Sometimes this happens voluntarily-compulsorily

. If, of course, you do not want to go to prison. But there are advantages to everything. But then you can get out of prison, create your own YouTube channel for another five years and talk at every interview about how you stole a million dollars in the USA. They even have their own reserve. By analogy, when you send your resumes to Headhunter, they are sometimes added to the database and they can write to you in six months, when you are needed. The same thing here.

They have the names and addresses of all the guilty guys, and they store them until they are needed. In fact, for the police, the opposite is true; the number of minor crimes paints your potential portfolio for them. But still, if the plans for solving are burning, they can sue you, so don’t be too happy and don’t perceive this as a setup. In addition to recruitment, there is also the Ministry of Internal Affairs school, where they will teach you the basics of darknetology and all sorts of other investigative actions. In essence, you just sit at a desk and take notes, nothing special.

We’ve sorted this out, and now we’ll move on to the interesting part. How can they track you down? Almost all of the work of Department K consists of searching for and filtering all your actions, transactions, and movements. They are mainly interested in the topic of child pornography, drugs, and carding. They are less willing to deal with trifles like scammers on Avito. Everything is simple here. If it’s a social network, then the employees simply request your IP, and if you don’t use Tor, then there’s no need to track you down.

These are not scammers, they do not need any social engineering. As for the phone, all the data is taken from the operator. That is, they do not need to spy on you, they just take all the information they need. Secondly, SORM, which we will not dwell on for long. In short, it is wiretapping and collecting Internet traffic. And just after the previously mentioned Yarovaya, all telecom operators had to install wiretapping equipment at their own expense.

And if you do not like something, well, then say goodbye to your license. And at this time they are already closely monitoring you. They look at where and when you go online, what time the traffic is, and so on. In theory, wiretapping and surveillance should be installed only after the court has made a corresponding decision. But spoiler, we are a country of opportunity, so this does not particularly stop anyone. There is also such a thing as OSINT Open Source Intelligence.

This is a technology for searching and analyzing data that lies quietly on the public Internet. The point is, as we have already said many times, you have told them all the information about yourself, so they do not need to hire anyone to monitor what you do. And that personal FSB officer from the memes is also not needed. Regular research can also be useful, and that is how I found the guy who blackmailed me. And by the way, if you have not seen it yet, then be sure to watch the video about it.

So what is the joke of OSINT? First of all, in the different approaches to finding information. Imagine that the Internet has one huge pool of information about you, or rather, you do not even need to imagine it, it is. But these are all social networks, classifieds sites and forums about computer games, sites about prolonging sexual intercourse, which you sat on several years ago, and also files, pictures, gifs, videos and audio files, and this is only the beginning.

Then the one who wants to know everything about you sends an IP logger, a thing that tracks your IP address, and after scanning the ports, the fog of war dissipates. For example, if a printer is working next to you at night, then you either print a book or print money. That is, theoretical information from open sources can be even more useful than Sormovo wiretapping. Moreover, if you are doing something illegal, then you obviously do not use regular phones and probably do not even check the weather without Tor.

But they can also track you using financial monitoring. For example, if yesterday you borrowed from friends for pizza at a cafeteria, and today you bought yourself and your mother an iPhone and a two-week trip to Turkey for the whole family, then this will also be very visible. Sometimes, though not here, but in America, there are whole shows, the main goal of which is to make sure that the criminal does not have time to turn off the computer.

For particularly famous villains who lived in their estates, they even made a separate show. For example, they would imitate an accident outside the window, so that he would get up from the computer and go look, while they would break in from another window and twist it. So, if they have already dug up enough on you, then expect guests in the evening. Searches are always a masked show, and they will simply knock down your door if you do not open it. That is, these are not ordinary local police officers who will tear off your door lock until your patience runs out and you open it for them.

With a cheerful company of people in masks there will always be a person with a camera. So in the next news release you will be able to see yourself lying on the floor and crushed by a boot. Well, so that you do not hide anything anywhere, these guys simultaneously break into your place of residence and your place of registration, well, and into the office, if you work somewhere. In general, everywhere where there may be evidence. So, you can find out about visiting websites.

But what about instant messengers? Anonymous messengers are not a panacea either. The same Telegram is easy to read. In general, messengers linked to a number cannot be anonymous, this is obvious. So everything is simple here. But, perhaps, the most interesting thing can be called compiling a digital portrait. Let's imagine that you are a forum admin and the creator of a site where they discuss something illegal. You are banned all the time, but you revive the site again and again. You have insured yourself and do not even go to the toilet in the morning without turning on the VPN and use anonymous routers like Raspberry.

And now it's time to create your digital portrait. And so that you at least roughly understand what kind of world we live in, there are already programs on the Internet for analyzing employee behavior. There you can quickly find out if you are toxic, rude to clients, don't clean the coffee machine after yourself, and wipe your boogers on the table when no one is looking. This program analyzes one seemingly simple thing - your writing style.

But this style is your habit, and it is very difficult to change. Something similar was done in the old days, when they found out the identity of the isodiac and other maniacs. It is the same here. From your messages, they can find out your character, and also find out when you go online. For example, if you only go online at lunchtime and in the evening, then it is logical to assume that you work somewhere. Yes, this is not much, but in fact, all the information is collected bit by bit and ultimately turns out to be very useful.

Well, and then as long as your carelessness lasts. You sit under this nickname on some other thematic forum or in one of the messages you sent a photo in which the city can be recognized. The circle around you will narrow more and more. You are a kind of lover of children.

So, in a couple of weeks, a digital portrait will be made of you What do you do, what are your hobbies, what might you look like and what are your interests and tastes But let's get back to more traditional scams and fraud How can you get busted and at what point will they start hunting you? Everything is individual here Firstly, the biggest risk group is if you steal systematically Or stole from the wrong person And then the amount is no longer important For example, if these are some government or pro-government organizations. They say that there are supposedly amounts from which you will be tracked, and it is possible to steal small amounts.

But this is not entirely true. As in the case of more serious crimes, murders and robberies will be their priority. But this does not mean that if you take a bottle of Nesti and whiskey from the store, they will not look for you. The same is true here. It's just that Internet crimes have their own specifics. The very bottom is the deception of individuals, that is, ordinary citizens, but also Trojans on websites and applications. But the trouble is that no one writes statements about these scams, which means no one is investigating these cases.

How not to get caught? Well, first of all, forgive me for the obviousness, but do not engage in illegal activities. Impudence ruins people and, as a rule, with each new crime they take more and more risks, and each of these crimes increases the chances that you will be exposed. But even if you are not connected with crime, then clean up your digital footprint as much as possible, this is the time we live in.

All forums, old VK pages and your mail, for which you forgot the password back in 2008, all this will be under investigation. So all your schools, universities, work colleagues and even childhood friends, they will all be known and, if necessary, interrogated. Your car can easily be taken away by a tow truck allegedly for illegal parking and equipped with bugs. And you will also have to constantly change SIM cards, move from place to place and forget about a good night's sleep.

Do you need it? I don't think so either. In the end, I can say one thing. Cyberpolice is a gun hanging on the wall. Either fire it at the very end or before the show starts. But you shouldn't underestimate law enforcement either. After all, when someone gets a kick in the ass, they start working better. And they give kicks there often. They don't have any spy tricks, and often they don't even need them to catch mommy carders.

Therefore, that great and terrible Department K is just a police department, not some big brother. Of course, if you are Frank Abagnale, you will be able to run from them longer than some IT teacher from a rural school who does phishing after work.

But remember that most of the so-called working schemes that your friends told you about or that you may have read on a forum have already been tried by someone and someone is currently serving time for them. If you plan to engage in fraud, you will have to do it constantly because how else will you earn money? You won’t be able to steal once and for all your life and you will have to repeat it over and over again and each time risk your freedom by engaging in scam. And any system is the first step to being caught. Remember this. Believe me, none of the criminals currently in prison committed crimes with the intention of, but I’m going to be caught now.

No, they were all 100% sure of their plan, and now they’re in prison. So, old man, be careful in life, on the Internet, and, of course, with the policemen. And earn money legally. Fortunately, today there are all the opportunities for this. And that’s all for me. Video, and also send it to your cyber sportsmen and friends.

Write a comment about how you scammed some old lady.
