Has it ever happened to you: you got excited about an idea, boldly rushed to achieve success, and then at some point something happened - and that’s it... interest is lost, the goal no longer seems so attractive, and we force ourselves to move on?

It seems to me that our perfectionism is to blame for this: we strive to achieve the ideal at any cost, thereby increasing the number of problems. As a result, our enthusiasm gradually fades away, since the goal, which has not even been achieved yet, begins to introduce negativity into our lives. Going forward through “I don’t want” is fraught with negative consequences. But you can change the situation and finish the job you started without violence against yourself - joyfully and with inspiration. The main thing is the right approach.

Overcome phantom fear. According to surveys, out of a hundred people who start moving towards a goal, only eight reach the finish line. Problems appear quickly, and we give up what we started, experiencing a ghostly fear that we won’t be able to do everything perfectly. And this is the main trap of perfectionism. It’s important to remember: it’s normal to stumble at the start, you just need to move on.

Avoid planning mistakes. It would be good to first cut your goals in half - that is, do not take on several things at once, do not promise to “fulfill the five-year plans in three years,” and do not overload yourself with tasks. Just admit to ourselves that we don’t have the strength to do everything. And put some carding projects aside for a while. What can be done? Make a list of three things that we can give up for a while while we move towards our goal. Find a way to simplify the actions that are necessary.

Add fun moments. Dreams should bring pleasure - then they come true more easily! It is important that satisfaction and efficiency be present in the carding of the project in the middle of the journey. And a positive mood helps unite them. We need to notice funny moments, focus the attention of carders on them, who help us move towards the goal, discuss what is happening and laugh to our heart's content.

Don't give up on the eve of victory. Closer to the finish line, if it seems that interest in carding is about to finally fade away, you need to look back and appreciate what has already been achieved, correctly and comprehensively analyze the facts. What can be done? Identify your biggest fear of finishing and find ways to overcome it. The main thing here is not to give up and not to go off the rails when you are about to reach the goal. It is best to answer the question directly: what is the benefit of losing? Remember all the benefits that we will receive by completing the carding project.
