You got to the prison, go to the hut, your actions:
Wrong:
- "Great, guys!" - for a certain category of those who were in prison, such words may be offensive and you will be raped.
Right:
- It would be correct to say: "Hello!" or "Good afternoon", "Good health". Although some roosters can fuck up to these words, they say, why on earth is a good day. Therefore, it is better to use such expressions: "Hello honest fellows!", "Peace to your home."
Subtleties at the entrance to the hut:
- There is no need to rush to shake hands with every prisoner. There are certain castes and suits in prison, whose representatives cannot be shaken by the hand. It will be considered humiliating. (roosters)
- But this does not mean that you need to sit silently. The prisoner should be polite, discreet, but do not be overly polite.
- Such qualities in a person as friendliness and benevolence in prison are appreciated, but sugaryness and excessive intelligence are not welcome. Currying is accepted by prisoners as a weakness of character, so they rape such people.
"Strength test". What is it?
- Any newcomer is tested how well or poorly he knows prison life, its laws and regulations. For this, experienced inmates arrange "podlyanki" - tests.
Types of padlyankas:
- Responding to a thrown towel. Many pioneers do not know how to enter a hut correctly if there is a towel at the entrance. Someone picks it up, someone wipes their feet on it. If the newcomer knows the prison laws, then he will have to step on a towel or other object specially thrown by the convict and wipe his feet on it.
- "Pick up the soap." Sometimes a lodger, when handing over soap to a newcomer, deliberately throws it under the feet of a new prisoner. If the newcomer raised the soap, it will mean that he bowed to the guest. In prison, the following rule is in force: “I didn't drop, so I don't have to lift”.
- Games involving physical impact on a newcomer. There are many games out there. A person who has never been to the zone before hardly knows about them.
- The zone has its own jargon, using it, the chance of becoming a rooster is less.
Jargon:
- Common courtesy words like "Thank you" and "Please" should not be used in the zone. But you can replace them with these words: "Thank you", "If possible."
- A beginner should not use obscene expressions and obscene words in excess. When a beginner assimilates the vocabulary that has developed in the hut, then no one will react negatively to his speech.
- You shouldn't use words like “I want to ask” in the lexicon. In the prison vocabulary, this phrase means to prosecute for violating the rules of thieves' life, which in itself is a serious insult. In prison, you need to say: "I want to ask," and if a newcomer is asked for what purpose he is interested, then you need to answer like this: "I wanted to ask for myself."
