im a kinda newbie want to know what is the hype about track 3 on amex card i got a couple and want to know how to use them if there is something to use them for... it's twelve digits on track 3

You need big magstripes to encode track three. In some places they check it, but most pos dont need it.

encode it exactly same as you encode a normal dumps ,when you put data into software , TR1 data -->Track 1 ETC ....
THEN encode same , now u can read card on ur MSR and see 3 track on magstripe . You not need BIg magstripe , a normal plastic is ok .
Its good have tr3 if you got Pin code ( because u can get balance info & sometimes access to checking & saving ) but rarely POS check the track 3 .

well on small regular magstripe it gave error to encode track three so bigger one is better anyways some banks use wider magstripes. And there are some places that without track three will not have success but it is rare.
