After the Silk Road story, even the lazy heard about Bitcoins. But this does not mean that Bitcoins can only be used for illegal purposes.
Recently, a coffee shop in downtown Vancouver installed the world's first Bitcoin ATM, which processed more than one hundred thousand Canadian dollars in transactions in a very short period of time. For now, the ATM only accepts cash, but the developers plan to soon accept payments from debit cards.
Within a week after installing the ATM, the price of one bitcoin increased by $126.
