We continue with interesting news: a first-year student, silver medalist of the All-Russian Olympiad in Informatics, was detained in Irkutsk . The arrest occurred at a time when a 19-year-old guy tried to steal about 75 thousand rubles by withdrawing money and transferring it to telephone accounts. The break-in occurred in one of the grocery stores in Irkutsk. The security guards drew attention to a young man who had been making suspicious manipulations for a long time at the terminal located in the store. Well, they called the police.

I quote the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:

“Police experts established that the detainee reprogrammed the terminal using a self-written computer program and made a series of payments through it, sending large sums of money to the SIM cards of dummies.”

The police are currently looking for accomplices, because believes that the young man did not act alone. The identity of the detainee is not disclosed.
