In their opinion, fraudsters can be overcome only by making their business unprofitable and risky.
Information about the attackers will be collected by the department, as well as with the involvement of leading Russian companies in the field of cybersecurity, Kommersant reported with reference to the ministry's presentation.
The ministry said in its presentation that the ministry expects to reduce the number of fraudulent calls by 50% by the end of 2022 and block up to 80% of phishing (fraudulent) resources within 24 hours. “This year, the main focus was on the fight against fakes. In 2022, we must learn to very quickly block phishing sites: a day is the maximum period, ideally, the work should take six to eight hours, ”said Mr. Shadayev.
