In this case, the bullies turned out to be either pranksters or complete losers. Either way, we can only chuckle at the fact that someone set up a fake ATM to skim bank cards at the Riviera Hotel Casino in Las Vegas during DEFCON, the world's largest hacker conference.
No one can say for sure how long the ATM counter was there; at least the guys were smart enough to install it right next to the security department, in one of the few places at the conference that is not under surveillance. This fact aroused suspicions among Brian Markus, CEO of Aries Security. Having shined a light through the glass window behind which the camera should be located, instead he discovered a computer configured for skimming. He then notified security, who removed the device and made the world safe again for hackers and their bank accounts.
