In the evening, the woman was actually called and convinced that HSE employees were allegedly suspected of sending money to Ukraine, and loans were already issued in Svetlana's name.
Then Svetlana was switched to a "Central Bank employee" and assured that she could become a victim of fraudsters, so you need to urgently transfer money to secure accounts. Then unknown people from the FSB convinced the woman to buy a new phone with NFC support and install an app there to make it easier to transfer money. Fraudsters kindly called Svetlana a taxi, which she took to the shopping center in Butovo and bought a phone with the necessary functionality there. In the same building, she withdrew her savings, 3.9 million rubles, from an ATM and transferred them to fraudsters.
The woman was then persuaded to take out a loan and also transfer the money to a secure account. After the next transaction, the HSE employee already hesitated and guessed that she had been communicating with scammers all this time. Total damage to Svetlana: 5,264,000 rubles.
