The Chulymsky District Court of the Novosibirsk Region ordered the dropper who provided his bank account to cyber fraudsters to return the money stolen from the pensioner, the Crimean prosecutor's office reports.

"The court granted the claim of the prosecutor's office to recover from the dropper - a resident of the Novosibirsk region, who provided his account to fraudsters - more than 80 thousand rubles," the report says.

According to her, the victim, at the request of fraudsters, transferred 88 thousand rubles to the account indicated by scammers. However, law enforcement officers managed to establish the identity of the account holder - it turned out to be a resident of the Novosibirsk region, the prosecutor's office notes.

"In order to protect the pensioner's rights, the prosecutor's office sent a statement of claim to the Chulymsky District Court of the Novosibirsk Region to recover from the dropper the amount of unjustified enrichment and interest for using other people's money. The court granted the claim," the department said.
