When and where do we start analyzing a person's personality and drawing up a psychological profile?
Profilers' eyes often focus on how a person entered the office or how he walks: on his gait, movements, gestures. Is it true that according to these characteristics, you can determine the psychotype of a person?
Let's see what are the distinctive features of non-verbal behavior of each of the psychotypes.

Hysteroid
Smooth, as if walking on the catwalk. Movement from the hip, flexibility and deliberation. Often there is a challenge in the gait, or rather a call, and at the same time flirtation and flirting.
There is mannerism, theatricality, pretentiousness. Hysteroids love beautiful, "winning" poses, designed to testify to "high birth", "elite upbringing". They take similar postures in all cases, regardless of the content and objective meaning of what is happening.

Epileptoid
Paying attention to epileptoids in shopping malls, you will see how their every step seems to drive in piles. They are characterized by rudeness, rigidity, slowness and restraint in movements.
The gait and movements of epileptoids are affected by their constant internal self-control.

Paranoid
Springy gait, lightness, but at the same time clarity. There is physical activity, concentration, self-confidence.
Paranoia are distinguished by two types of gestures: guiding and rhythm-forming.
“Pointing fingers”, “outstretched hands” are gestures typical of this psychotype. They confidently point their finger not only into a certain "bright distance", but into a book page, into a slogan on a banner, into a drawing.

Emotive
Soft, smooth, light movements, neatness. Walking among people, they will be courteous and thorough, they will not disturb.
Gestures are restrained (in terms of scope, range of motion), but expressive, accurately and capaciously expressing sincere feelings inherent in emotives.
Characterized by smooth, flexible, sometimes reminiscent of hysterical or feminine gestures (regardless of the real gender of the individual).
Poses of emotives are comfortable, free, while not embarrassing others. With such people they say: "dexterous and organic, like a beast." Indeed, every time looking at the emotive, it seems that he has chosen the optimal pose - comfortable for him and for everyone, graceful without pretense, winning without tension, beautiful without pretense.

Schizoid
Scourge hands, dysplasticity and lack of understanding of their size, low coordination. They can crush and break everything around, as they feel bad about their body.
The gestures are quite peculiar. It is difficult to confuse it with anything. The movements of schizoids are angular, sharp, awkward, poorly coordinated.
Their postures are uncomfortable, non-functional. It seems that the posture is held not due to, but in spite of the natural structure of the musculoskeletal system.

Hypertim
Fast, agile, impetuous and so active, you try to keep up with them, catch up with them. Fussy gestures.
It is easy to recognize hypertima by the features of facial expressions and gestures. Often, in search of a communication partner, he looks around. Without embarrassment, with a light cheerful smile, he looks into the faces of passers-by, oncoming.
Greeting and illustrative gestures are characteristic of hypertimes. All movements are performed quickly - they walk quickly, eat quickly, speak quickly.

Anxious and suspicious
Cautious, slow. They will look around and react to all possible stimuli around. Often they walk in a group (it's safer this way) and in small steps, like mice.
The postures of the anxious, their facial expressions and gestures are very restrained, often, as it were, absent altogether. Their movements are so inexpressive that it is difficult to see them, and even more so to remember.

Depressive sad
Excessive gait, shuffling, looking down, walking slowly and stooping.
Reduced vitality, smooth and slow gestures. Sluggish posture - a feeling that their spine does not support. Measured movements without strength.
