socks dns in firefox

i try to use my socks dns in firefox and don't work.
i had FF 13 and worked, made FF update and don't work anymore.
i know i have to change network.proxy.socks_remote.dns but i'm sure there is something else.
who can help me, please

also pptp vpn don't give me vpn's ip at dns

vpn is fucked this days bro.....you can use your phone vpn. Connect to computer and use it....that has better security and anonymity
