Sites that require card re-input when changing address??

So I've only started messing with this stuff recently and have been messing with store logins, but I've run into an issue.
It seems certain sites (in my current case Revolve.com) require a total re-input of the card number in order to add a new shipping address or change a currently listed one. I let the order go through to one of the existing addresses and attempted to redirect it through the shipper, however they said that since I couldn't confirm on the billing phone number they couldn't change the delivery address. To change the billing phone number I'd need the card's cvv which I also do not have. I ended up canceling the order so it wouldn't be delivered as I wasn't able to make it to there in time to swipe it. The address I chose is about a 2 hour drive from me so I suppose I could always reorder to there and take the trip since I could plan for it this time, but I wanted to see if anyone on here possibly had a workaround so I could have it just sent to one of my drop offs instead.

Interested to see what my possible fixes are!
Thanks in advance

Do you only have a login and password for your store account?
You don't have access to the card, phone and e-mail specified in your account?
When changing the delivery address, does it ask for the CVV card?
In this case, we must order to the address specified in the account, and then perform the “reroute” method of the parcel by calling the delivery service, when the store sends the goods and gives the tracking number of the parcel.
Did this method not work for you either?

I only have password and Email for login, yes. i know what the phone number is as well, I tried calling the delivery service but they told me I had to call the shipper. I did however send the package to what seems to be a relative of the account owner so maybe it's because I'm technically a third party in that case so they wouldn't do a re route? so you're saying I should reorder and as soon as I have tracking call the service? it lets me choose a shipping preference is there one that's easier to do this with than another?

Here are the services that do "reroute" and don't do "reroute":

FedEx reroute:
  • FedEx Ground
  • FedEx 2nd Day Air
  • FedEx Standard
  • FedEx Overnight

FedEx will NOT reroute:
  • FedEx Smart Post
  • FedEx Super Express
  • FedEx One Day Air
  • FedEx Standard Overnight

UPS reroute:
  • UPS 2nd Day Air
  • UPS Ground
  • UPS Standard
  • UPS Express

UPS will NOT reroute:
  • UPS Next Day Air Saver
  • UPS Super Express
  • UPS Smart Post
  • UPS Overnight
  • UPS Super Express

If the delivery service for "reroute" asks to contact the sender, call them and tell them that you will be at a different address so that they contact the delivery service and change the recipient's address.
