there is 2 wires by track ... so for 2 track reader there is 4 wires and not 2 as we can see on your reader...
And the keypad is attached to the reader? It is strange ... can you explain all this request please...

When dealing with magnetic stripe reader chips. It is called HEAD COMMON, HEAD-A and HEAD-B, For track 1 its HEAD COMMON and HEAD A wires, and Track 2 its HEAD COMMON and HEAD-B wires..

So HEAD COMMON is used in both Track 1 and Track 2. Does that explain better
