Each person sooner or later realizes that the level of development at which he is now does not meet the requirements of life itself. Or this level is not enough to be in harmony with oneself. After all, everyone has an internal image of the ideal "I", which presupposes a set of certain qualities and skills necessary for successful and effective life, as a rule, this image rarely coincides with what is at the moment. As soon as this realization comes, you need to pull yourself together and start acting.
Self-improvement is a complex and multidirectional process. Its complexity lies in the purposefulness and awareness of the process, that is, it is important to understand that each subsequent action must have a result and purpose. Therefore, all actions from this moment should be aimed at achieving one common goal: "Today I will become better than I was yesterday."

As a rule, self-development is understood as self-improvement in such areas as professional development, physical, personal, moral, mental. The main thing here is to understand that there will be no end result as such, since you can improve and develop, get better all your life and you need to learn to enjoy it from this. Therefore, you do not need to force yourself, for example, to read books that you do not like, torture yourself with physical exertion that does not bring satisfaction, etc. Listening to yourself and your needs, you need to build your activities so that at the end of the day you can say to yourself: "Today I definitely became (a) better than yesterday, but, as you know, there is no limit to perfection!"
