Continuing the topic of search engines. We have already seen vanilla search engines, small regional search engines, looked at all sorts of metasearch engines, but even climbed into the Internet of Things and the Dark Web. Where only the devil has not brought us! But today we will continue the conversation and enrich our arsenal with another tool.
Forum search. Personally, I was using dvachev before it became mainstream, for example. But in addition to all sorts of crap, I participated in political discussions there and not only about moms, learned to make my first photoshopped photos, studied software and hardware. And, oddly enough, I learned a lot. They say that a stick is the best teacher. But no, imageboards are also suitable for this role.
What I am getting at. There is a lot of useful information on forums that will allow you, if not to conquer the world, then to succeed in it. Unless, of course, you only watch all sorts of nonsense there. For example, Reddit has great threads on OSINT, and I'm not even talking about the magical abilities of the Dvach community to de-anonymize and find information that you'd be hard pressed to find without a crowbar and all that. In short, these forums of yours are useful.
Now about the tool. Previously, I complained that I could only find a search engine for 4ch, and even then it worked all the time. But it finally happened! I found it, a search engine that works not for one forum, but for all of them. And not just for Russia, but for the whole world. And it's not just a search bar. It also has filters. You can search for a certain time, by post or by thread, and there are even search operators! In general, it's truly the king among forum search engines. Meet! BoardReader [ 1 ].
It's a really cool thing. The main thing is to remember to turn off the search only in Russian - the number of results will increase by an order of magnitude. What's interesting is that it even has its own analytics and visualization tools. After each search, click on the graph icon and get the dynamics of the query popularity. It doesn't always work, but the fact that this feature exists is already cool.
Safe and sound to all and see you soon!
