together with the National Police, a resident of Korosten was exposed, who, on the order of the invaders, massively registered virtual mobile numbers of Ukrainian operators and anonymous telegram accounts.
Activated "accounts" she sold or rented out through specialized Internet platforms of the Russian Federation.
In the future, Russian special services used these numbers to hack the phones of the Ukrainian military.
To do this, they made phishing mailings to the gadgets of soldiers of the Defense Forces from anonymous numbers and Internet addresses registered in Ukraine.
If you opened files with malicious software, a spy virus was automatically downloaded to your phone, which collected confidential data.
The enemy also used anonymous bot farm accounts to spread Kremlin narratives ostensibly on behalf of ordinary citizens of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the defendant installed specialized software right in her own apartment.
It is established that the woman registered more than 600 mobile numbers, the money from the sale of which she received on her own crypto wallet.
According to the exposed facts, the defendant was informed of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized interference in the operation of information and communication systems, electronic communication networks).
In Dnipro:
a 30-year-old local resident who registered almost 15 thousand fictitious accounts in various social networks and instant messengers was detained. To do this, I used the SIM cards of Ukrainian mobile operators.
He sold the created accounts on darknet forums, where the main buyers were representatives of the Russian special services.
The attacker is charged with committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).
Both cases are still being investigated.
Comprehensive measures were carried out by SBU officers in Zhytomyr and Dnipropetrovsk regions together with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the National Police under the procedural leadership of the regional prosecutor's offices.
