Does anyone know how to do raised INK printing pn PVC card so when u feel the lettering on the pvc card its raised slightly??

Ive done it with a 35 pico liter HP printer using ink mixed with embossing powder. Even with the large 35 pico liter print head it clogged up after about two runs and had to be cleaned out. It took me a lot of trial and error but if you really need to get it done it will do the job. Its a pain in the ass to clean the print head after a few runs :(

its called intaglio printing and the printers are very expensive. US currency uses it as well. Replicating intaglio without the actual printer is extremely difficult. I take it your doing the new California? You could also look into laser engravers but those are kinda pricey as well. Other than those options embossing powder is your best bet. You know that after a certain time period the real ids that have the raised feel flatten out eventually from wear....Just a thought. Goodluck

acrylic printer is very good. like what giftcards have on them. extremely hard to find though
