Question regarding 201

I have a quick question
If i had a person on the inside (My friend is cashier), is there a possible way to use 201?

From my research, it tells me probably wont happen.

fry the chip, then POS will ask for mag.stripe.
give it a shot

a lot of POS terminals don't accept chipreading even if they have the slot available...I know here in Canada at least some employees swipe a 201 even if there is a card reader available and it still goes through.

This is just from personal experience.
