Quality Printer

I'm thinking of buying myself a card printer, and I was wondering if you guys can recommend a printer.

If u want a real edge to edge printing with highest quality i recommend the HDP series from Fargo. For myself im using a FARGO HDP820 LC, and i can tell u this is the best printer i ever had. Check out amerid.com, very serious company, they sell new and refurbished printers, specially on the refurb ones u can get great deals there, like the hdp825 for under 2k.

i was thinking of this... even if printing great plastic, how do u deal with UV? Lots of stores check UV now... even if u buy sig stripe with uv, what about the front? How do you print UV??

there is a UV ribbon for both the Zebra p330i and Fargo hdp printers available.

fargo hdp5000 has a fantastic print quality, also will print uv in a single pass using ymcfk ribbon.. this printer is not cheap, but you will get your money worth.. just keep in mind.. that the quality of your plastic depends on the quality and clarity of your templates.. you buy cheap templates you will be printing fucked up stuff
