Printing plastic on mag strip pvc?

Does anyone have a template?
I purchased some PVC cards hico mag strip's inkjet from platinum ID and they are complete shit.
The ink does not dry up fast enough or get absorbed properly and leaves the worst quality plastic you can imagine.

Was wondering if anyone had more templates besides the ones that came with version 7 and can be found around on google.

Also how do you print on the back side do you leave the mag strip transparent or what? I haven't tried it out yet.

I often found printing on magstripe is ok and not that noticeable, but there are ways to make it transparent. BTW you mentioned using inkjet, which is shitty for printing cards. Best way is to use a printer that uses reverse heat transfer dye sublimation.

Yeh I'm running the epson r280 I'm about to give it a test run I'll let you know how it handles the mag strip.

Yup I tried several templates and 9/10 came out looking like complete shit to the point I won't use them in store but 1 (citi bank) template came out really good actually just need to get a tipper so it'll look better.

iceroot, no, hdp5000 is only 300 dpi and bank quality is 1200/1800 DPI, but it looks like real bank card if you use the right template, i had many years printing with this and never got no kind of suspicious behavior from cashiers, one thing i will advice to you is buy a datacard 150i for embossing/tipping/indenting because the finish this machine gives to your cards will be the most professional possible.

Real ones is much higher because its offset printing.

You cant reach that.

But its true.
If colors match and it looks sharp and prof. no one will notice.

does anyone know how to make the pvc inkjet plastic less PayPaly touch?

does clear overlay laminate do the job? is it possible to laminate the pvc card in another way?

Another member recently told me a trick rub it on leather like a wallet

scotch pad or 2000+ grit sandpaper will get the PayPaliness off. You could also use a clear coat spray as well to give off a shinier look.

Actually Thermal Card Printers have max of 300dpi

This is only a problem when printing text as it will be blurry. However there are ways to print crisp text separately using the black resin ribbons.
