i like using 5socks.com. But, what does it take to set up YOUR OWN, PERSONAL BOX...? Do you rent room in a building in another country and fill it full of servers, than you got ur own personal vpn, that you KNOW is not logging.

Just always assume that they are from LE.

Simply switch VPN, SOCKS accounts every month, and your point of entry to the internet a.k.a different WIFI cafes, or new 3G modem. Though the best thing to do would be to purchase a hacked cable modem and use that, as it is untraceable and there is a possibility of high speeds.

A VPN which changes IP addresses is called a dynamic IP.

StrongVPN.com has dynamic IP VPNs, you can purchase by WU.

PerfectVPN.net also has dynamic IP VPNs, you can purchase by LR.

Does Amazon EC2 still give a fresh IP each time you connect there? If so, maybe setup an SSH server there, and use it as a proxy. That way you have a proxy, and your connection is encrypted.

The cable modem idea is probably the best though.

1. You was busted and you saw logs from VPN provider.
2. You working for hidemyass and know about their internal policies.
3. You working for police and had expirience with hidemyass.

In any of those 3 cases - you looks not good.

I don't know about HMA but some other VPN providers have written themselves about giving logs to authorities if they recieve complains about fraud activities.
Of course the best choice is operating your own hidden VPN network, if you want to buy from somewhere, use IPredator - thepiratebay's vpn service - they for sure won't give away logs to police.

They are known for their good policies concerning anonymity.

HMA cooperated with FBI for the anonymous hackers raid. they keep logs and handed over entire log file for several anonymous members hackers. HMA is BAD

but they DO SAY they keep time stamps and real ip information
so its like surfing the internet with your real picture )
