Personalization of plastic cards is a production operation for applying or printing personal data on cards that relate to a specific card. The purpose of personalization is to identify the cardholder using various methods. Card personalization is one of the most important stages in the production of plastic cards and the main way to protect cards from illegal use. The main types of personalization of plastic cards: Barcode, Printed numbering, Full name, Photo, phone, Embossing, QR code and others. Personalization protects and restricts access to card data. Here's how it all works:​

GRAPHIC PERSONALIZATION OF PLASTIC

1. Graphic elements, letters, numbers or signs.
This can be any information that we can put on your cards. The data can be either constant or variable according to the database you provide.

2. Linear or two-dimensional barcode.
Graphic information that allows barcode scanners to read it - a sequence of white and black stripes or similar figures.
3. Printed numbering, variable or constant.
Graphic personalization in the form of applying numbering to the card in any color and font.

3. QR code matrix or two-dimensional.
Graphic code which is also read by a special device or a regular phone with the help of a specially installed program

4. Photo or full name
A plastic card with the owner’s portrait or full name printed on it can easily replace an identity card.

5. Scratch panel.

6. Hologram.

1. Plastic contactless smart card with a built-in microcircuit.

2. HiCo, LoCo, MeCo magnetic strip with tracks for recording data.
Allows you to encode information in any of the three tracks. Read using a special magnetic strip reader.
