How it works?
And so, the process is based on the search for abandoned domains (drops) with interesting indicators, using the expireddomains.net service (not advertising). Especially for the guys, I looked for interesting options and in 15 minutes I found a very wild domain for $ 12. If you manage to pick it up for $ 50-150, it will be very good. 8 thousand backlinks (BL), 2.3m - Alexa rank. Maybe I'll pick it up:

Once upon a time, these sites developed and for some reason were abandoned. They were not always abandoned due to the lack of traffic. In fact, a bunch of just abandoned, non-working projects with great performance.

A couple of days of searching (1-2 hours each) and voila - in the hands of an interesting domain with IKS (site quality index) 300.

The main indicators by which I select a domain:
  1. Alexa ranking. The smaller it is, the better;
  2. IKS Yandex. The bigger it is, the better;
  3. I look at the web archive web-arhive.ru (not advertising), so that there are no previously prohibited topics on the site;
  4. I break through the RKN database blocklist.rkn.gov.ru (not advertising), the presence of bans, locks, etc.;
  5. Date of initial domain registration (the older the better);
  6. Next, you can check for live links to the domain - here to help Majestic and Semrush.
In general, I advise you to put RDS Bar on your browser. Most of the top webmaster gadgets are there recipdonor.com (not advertising).

After finding an interesting domain, you either just need to register it (I personally use the registrar - internetbs.net, not advertising), or buy it at the auction where it was put up. You do not need to keep in touch with the seller.

Launch
It was decided to put a video engine, phpMelody. It is indexed very quickly in Google, and I was going to work for it. The coder ordered improvements for my wishlist, namely, the mobile version of the site and automatic parsing from YouTube with the possibility of relaying. That is, those videos that are prohibited on YouTube from being embedded on other people's sites were embedded and they were successfully launched. Outwardly, it turned out well, provided that the mobile version was initially completely absent.

The site began to fill up, it remained to wait for indexing and look at the results.

Result
After a week of waiting (about how much Google needs to fully re-index the restored domain), the first traffic went. To my surprise, there was a lot of it (about 10 thousand people / day at once).

I quickly set up monetization by wapclick (paid subscriptions via SMS), which, of course, I regretted later. However, the site still managed to bring some money. About 10,000-15,000 rubles dripped per day.
