200 gas pumps, massive shutdowns, and one hacker group.

In the past two days, Israel's electricity supply infrastructure has been the target of a hacker attack carried out by the Cyber Avengers group, resulting in massive power outages.

The Cyber Avengers group on Tuesday evening claimed to be behind the hacking of systems at electrical distribution centers in the cities of Nahariya and Yavneh. Hackers have released an official statement from the Israeli electricity regulatory authority, saying that extensive power outages in the past two days have occurred due to a technical fault.

In addition, Cyber Avengers infiltrated the servers of the electricity regulatory authority and published videos showing the replacement of damaged infrastructure.

Last week, a cyberattack on the Orpak fuel company's control station in the Palestinian territories caused 200 gas pumps to be disconnected from the system.

Last week, Cyber Avengers claimed responsibility for hacking into the station's infrastructure, which led to failures in the operation of 200 gas pumps. Residents of the occupied territories reported on social networks about the closure of several gas stations in Tel Aviv and Haifa due to the inability to service gas pumps.
