Also very interested. I read the articles about the nokia, seems crazy. Surely if there was a design flaw for that particular model, then it would be easier to recreate that with open source phones like open moko? Or even on the low spec Chinese phones?

You make it sound too easy. You need to have the software, with specific firmware of Nokia 1100 set to accomplish it. And the software isn't public, and if you don't know anyone with it, then just forget it, you would find only rippers selling it.
