How to change DNS server on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS
So that nothing interferes with surfing the Internet, try changing the DNS server. Carder's Guide will help you cope in no time.

Most often, the DNS server provided by the ISP copes with its tasks. But sometimes problems arise:
  1. Some sites stop loading.
  2. Access to content is blocked for geographic reasons.
  3. There is no reliable protection on the provider's server.
And here it is recommended to use third-party services. The most popular are Google Public DNS and OpenDNS. Google Public DNS will provide stable loading of sites. OpenDNS also offers advanced functionality: built-in filter, anti-phishing protection, and parental controls. To do this, you need to register.

Changing DNS Server on Windows
If you have Windows 10, right-click on the connection icon and select "Network and Internet Settings".

Scrolling down the page, open the Network and Sharing Center.
If you have Windows 7, 8, 8.1, also right-click on the network icon and immediately select "Network and Sharing Center". The following steps are the same for all versions of Windows.
You need to get to the "Change adapter settings" menu.
Right-click on the desired network connection and go to its properties. Select "IP version 4", click on the "Properties" button.
Change the checkbox to "Use the following DNS server addresses" and write down the new parameters. For Google Public DNS, these will be 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. For OpenDNS - 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

Changing DNS Server on macOS
Go to system settings and click on the "Network" icon. Next, select your network card on the left - in most cases it will be Wi-Fi. Click on the "Advanced" button.
When you get to advanced settings, open the DNS mini-tab. There you can add the new server address to the list. If you see a grayed out record, just ignore it and click the "+" button in the DNS Servers column to add a new record.
If you want to use the Google Public DNS servers, you need to add two new entries to the list of DNS servers: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. If you like OpenDNS better, use these two addresses: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

Changing DNS Server on Android
Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your phone. Select the required connection with a long press and select "Change network" in the menu that appears.
Then click "Advanced" and under "IP Settings" select "Static".
It remains to enter the addresses in the DNS1 and DNS2 fields. For Google Public DNS it is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, for OpenDNS it is 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

Change DNS server on iOS
Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your device and click on the blue circle with the letter i next to the desired connection.
Then enter the server address in the DNS line. Select one of the Google Public DNS addresses (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4) or OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220).
That's all! Changing DNS turned out to be quick and easy. You can enjoy a stable internet connection.

Very good DNS Servers
