The police of the American city of Salem (Oregon) announced the arrest of 33-year-old local resident Ross Serzegi, who had been engaged in mail theft for several years. According to local media, 13.6 kilograms of various mail items were found at his home. Investigators assume that he seized debit cards from them, managing to cash out about 16 thousand dollars in the end.

In addition to stealing mail and personal data, the man is charged with bank fraud, illegal possession of firearms and short-barreled shotguns, as well as body armor, forgery of documents and burglary. During the searches, they found fake keys to mailboxes and tools for making checks, bank cards and financial documents in other people's names.

Now the local authorities are sorting out the kilograms of other people's mail found at Serzega. About 200 people and organizations have finally received the emails sent to them a few years ago. Why the thief did not get rid of other people's packages is unknown.
