36-year-old Anna A. was arrested by a Polish court for a period of three months on suspicion of two robberies with a knife in banks in the settlements of Kuruwe and Pulawy.
The detainee was charged with two counts of robbery with a bladed weapon and inflicting light bodily harm.
The suspect confessed to committing the actions incriminated to her. She explained that she needed money, the prosecutor said. During two bank robberies on October 25 and November 10, the woman stole a total of about 50 thousand zlotys (just over 1.1 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
After the arrest, it turned out that the criminal is eight months pregnant. She faces up to 20 years in prison.
