Two men, one a citizen of Ukraine and the other a citizen of Russia, created a company in Lutsk that operated under the banner of "IT", but in fact provided the activities of a Russian online casino network consisting of dozens of different brands.
The business, which operated without complying with the requirements of international legislation, consisted of more than 30 online casino brands, which attracted more than 2 million players from all over the world. The excess profits received through offshore companies were transferred to the Russian Federation, according to the Volyn Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The network's business unit in Lutsk, which had about 200 employees, served as a support service, technical support, marketing and advertising.
Russian software was used to communicate with clients, and prohibited Russian payment systems were used to withdraw funds.
Law enforcement officers seized more than 100 computers, other office equipment, electronic documents related to financial transactions, remuneration payments to clients, instructions for working with foreigners and "black bookkeeping".
