Use pidgin with otr, more safe.

My favourite version of icq was the 6.4. It was the best I think. But you can download nowhere now

Yea it is nice, it works now, i think the cnx was bad, it needs good connection since they have updated it and all is different now.

I had the same problem with icq, would crash and not login for 30 minutes no matter what I would do. I tried the pidgin with otr, was ok, I am using qip now which I like more than both of the others! I just dont know how safe it is but I use proxy server for good measure.

yes but actually i am finding difficulties fiding icq number of a deleted contact.
if i deleted a contact i can see his history chat, but how can i get back his icq?
