In this tutorial we will discover a simple method without changing our whole Windows settings about setting up a proxy.
This method requires the Profixier and is very easy to follow.
Make sure that you don't have any VPN connected and all proxy settings from Windows settings are disabled!
Let's start.
Download Proxifier : https://www.proxifier.com/download/legacy/ProxifierSetup342.exe
(PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION)
Click Next.
Agree and click next.
You can enable the checkbox "Create a desktop shortcut".
Install.
In my case i don't need to reboot after the installation, but you should reboot to start Proxifier without issues.
After your computer has been rebooted run Proxifier as administrator.
As you can see if you don't choose trial they ask for a registration key. Just select it and type one of the following keys.

Now select Profile > Proxy Servers
To add a proxy, click on "Add..."
Depending on your proxy type you have to choose between SOCKS 4, SOCKS5 or HTTPS. In my case i have SOCKS5....
Check your proxy before you confirm it.
My proxy works, click "ok"
Let's add a Profixication Rule.
Adding a proxification rule is for make sure that your whole traffic is routed over the proxy and not through direct connection.
You can choose between two default options: Direct or Block. Direct means the traffic is directly send over your REAL IP and Block means that the traffic is blocked.
Choosing a proxy means that the traffic route is over this proxy.
Default And Localhost should be the Proxy... if you use Localhost as Direct, every application installed on your Windows system is sending requests to internet through your REAL IP.
Try to check if your proxy traffic is working.
Visit : https://ipinfo.io/ip to check your IP.
Also curl through CMD is routing the traffic through your proxy.
