We have long been immersed in the world of numbers, where it is almost impossible to hide something.

Today you can check everything and everyone. It is a question of interest and price. But you can still do something. In this post, we will give simple recommendations to those who care about this. In principle, we have already written about this, but questions are still coming in. Therefore, it is still relevant.

1. Have several smartphones and SIM cards.

At least three: personal, for work and for trash. Do not give your personal number to anyone except relatives and close friends. Work communication only with colleagues and partners. The third for registration on the Internet, in applications, social networks, etc.

It is worth creating a separate number for banks, brokers, tax authorities and State Services, which you should not show at all. This way you will cut off your personal numbers from spam and you will know who is calling you. Set a ban on any actions with your SIM card by proxy with operators.

2. Set a password for all SIM cards.

Today, they are sold by default without a password, which is why it can be easily transferred to another phone and activated. A lot is linked to your SIM card, even if it is “for trash”. And if you lose your phone, they can take it out, install it in a new device and gain access to your accounts. I advise you never to take your smartphone out of the house for banks.

3. Secure access to the devices themselves.

Lock your smartphone with a digital code. The code should not contain any hints about your data, such as your date of birth. Immediately, I advise you not to use your finger or face to log in. Situations are different. A smartphone can be brought to your face in a dream or unscrupulous comrades can force you to put your finger on it. It is also worth disabling the display of SMS and push notifications on the locked screen.

4. Set up two-factor authentication for all important applications, such as State Services.

I will not explain what could happen if scammers gain access to State Services. This also applies to mail. By the way, then you can log in on a computer via QR.

5. Similar to SIM cards, have several emails and bank cards for different needs.

One for personal use, one for work, and one for online shopping. Today, many services require card and email data, so let it be a separate bundle. It is more convenient to use different cards for different transactions. One for transfers to relatives, one for payments in stores, and one for online shopping and cashbacks.

6. Remember that almost all services leak information sooner or later.

This is not only personal data, but also photos, correspondence, videos, and documents. Therefore, you should not store too much personal information on cloud drives. It is better to use paid services or not store anything online at all. Your photos on a flash drive or computer will definitely be safer. Forget GetContact completely.

7. About instant messengers.

Not a single messenger is registered to our mobile numbers. We use our SIM cards only for the Internet. When we call the other person, he sees other fake numbers. If they want to check you, they won’t get any useful information. All numbers are registered to drops or legal entities. By the way, we don’t recommend using Viber or WhatsApp at all. This is a branch of Roskomnadzor.

The Internet is full of services where you can get a one-time SMS. You’ll find them. The instructions are simple. Register, put 5-10 rubles into the account and receive an SMS for activation. We also recommend taking numbers from other countries right away.

And when they look at the phone and see a number from another country, the ardor of the same cops and the desire to find you will decrease.
